AMT

AMT is abbreviation of Alternative Minimum Tax. It is intended to make individuals and companies to pay a minimum alternative tax, who otherwise use the provisions of deductions and credits to pay no tax at all. Such a tax system has been introduced in several countries to prevent such individuals and companies to pay zero tax.
