Aaron Burr

Aaron Burr (1756 - 1836), also Aaron Burr Jr., was an American politician and lawyer. He was third vice president of the United States during 1801-05. He killed Alexander Hamilton in a duel in 1804, while he was vice president. He was never tried for murder, though he was arrested and put on trial under President Jefferson.
