Abducens nerve

Abducens nerve is a term used in anatomy for each of the sixth pair of cranial nerves.

It supplies the muscles concerned with the lateral movement of the eyeballs and, in humans, controls the movement of a single muscle, the lateral rectus muscle of the eye.
