Abhoypada Mukherjee

Abhoypada Muherjee, also Abhoy Pada Mukherjee, was a revolutionary freedom fighter of India. He was born in 1907 at Boalia, Ghoramara, Rajshahi town, now in Bangladesh. He was son of Ramapada Mukherjee. He belonged to Anusheelan Samity. Prior to arrest, he remained underground for about 2 years. He was convicted under Arms Act for 7 years and deported to Andamans jail. There he took part in two hunger strikes. Ultimately, he was repatriated and released in 1939. His total jail period was 7 years.
