Abiotic

Abiotic is a term used in biology and ecology for the non-living component of the environment. It is physical rather than biological, not pertaining to or derived from life or living organisms.

All non-living components of an ecosystem affecting living organisms are called abiotic components, eg, Soil, Water, Air, Temperature, Sunlight etc.
