Abominable

Abominable is something that effects moral revulsion in a person. It is usually very unpleasant.

An action or an object can be termed as abominable, provided that it causes moral revulsion.

Until 17th century, it was believed to have formed by joining two Latin words 'ab' and 'homine' and spelled 'abhominable' which meant inhuman or beastly.
