Absolute

Absolute is a state of being not qualified or diminished in any way whatsoever. No limitation or condition is applied to it. It is unrestricted, and final. The absolute one exists independently. It does not exist in relation to other things.

When it comes to powers and rights, they are said to be absolute only when they are not subject to any limitation or condition.

Absolute ruler has thus unrestricted powers.

In law, a decree is said to be absolute when it is final.

In philosophy, absolute is a value or principle that is universally valid and independent of other things.
