Absolute pitch

Absolute pitch is a term used in music that refers to a pitch of a musical note independent of any reference tone.

It is defined as a fixed standard on the basis of the frequency of the vibration of the sound produced.

Absolute pitch is sometimes called perfect pitch.

It is also the ability of a person to recognize and recreate a pitch of a note.
