Achlorhydria

Achlorhydria is a term used in medicine for a condition that is marked by absence of hydrochloric acid in the gastric secretions.

Low level of production of hydrochloric or gastric acid in the stomach is also referred to as achlorhydria. It is associated with various other medical problems.
