Acid house

Acid house is an expression that refers to a popular synthesized dance music of the 1980s. It has fast repetitive beat, somewhat hypnotic and trance-like.

It has also been associated with taking of the popular club drug Ecstasy as well as psychedelic drugs in general, such as LSD. The persons, who take such drugs are informally called acidheads. However, this reference is debated.
