Acrylic Acid

Acrylic acid is a pungent liquid organic acid.

Originally used as a binder and film-former in dyes, adhesives and permanent-press fabrics. This acid is polymerized to make synthetic resins.

It is also used in skin creams and lotions. However, toxic by skin absorption.
