ADAM

Adam, in biblical or Koranic tradition, is the name of the first human being created by the God. He is the father of the human race. In Hebrew, the language in which the Bible was originally composed, 'Adam' simply meant 'man'. However, the word later conceived as a name of the first man.

The Genesis, the first chapter of the Holy Bible, mentions that the God created the first woman, named Eve, out of one of his ribs. Adam and Eve lived in the Garden of Eden, or the Paradise.

It is mentioned that Adam committed the original sin for the sake of Eve who had eaten the forbidden fruit after she was misled by the Devil.

The God expelled Adam and Eve from the Paradise for committing the original sin. Adam and Eve then came to live on Earth.
