Adharm, in Hindu mythology, was a son of Brahma the god of creation. Adharm was born from Brahma's back. He was injustice personified. He married
Nirriti and begot three sons to her. The name of them were
Bhay, the fear personified,
Mahabhay, the great fear personified, and
Mrityu, the death personified. Adharm had also another wife named
Mrisha, the vanity and falsehood personified. He begot a son by her who was named
Dambh, the arrogance and pride personified. Adharm was also a name of a
Prajapati, a divine clan. He had also married
Hinsa, the violence personified. He had a son and a daughter by her. The son was named
Anrit, the falsehood personified, and the daughter was named
Nikriti, the dishonesty and wickedness personified.
