Adhesion

Adhesion, in physics, is the quality of being sticking together of particles of different substances. However, in medicine, this term is applied to an abnormal condition in which two membranous surfaces are joined together due to injury or inflammation etc.

It is also a frictional grip of one substance on the other, such as shoes' grip on the surface.

It can also be applied for a person sticking to a set of principles, political party or person.
