Adolf von Baeyer

Adolf von Baeyer (1835-1917), full name Johann Friedrich Wilhelm Adolf von Baeyer, was a German organic chemist. He made the first barbiturates, investigated dyes, and synthesized indigo. He was awarded Nobel Prize for Chemistry in 1905.
