Adullam

Adullam, is an ancient ruin in Israel, which was David's hiding-place (1 Sam. xxii. 1), a royal Canaanitish city 10 miles northwest of Hebron. Adullam, during biblical times, was once numbered among the thirty-six cities of Canaan whose kings "Joshua and the children of Israel smote" (Joshua 12:7–24).
