Advaita

Advaita is a doctrine in Hinduism that identifies Atma (the individual self) with Brahm or Paramatma (the God).

According to this Vedantic philosophy, the individual self and the fundamental basis of existence or the reality are not two, but one. It believes in nonduality, and declares that Atma is the Brahm, and Brahm is the Atma.

This doctrine is associated with the great Indian philosopher Shankara (c 788-820).
