AENEID

AENEID is an epic poem by Virgil, of which Aeneas is the hero. This Latin epic poem was composed in twelve books.

The epic recounts the story of Aeneas after his escape when Troy fell to the Greeks. It relates his many years of wandering after which he reached Italy, where he finally settled.
