Aeolian Islands

Aeolian Islands is the ancient name for a group of islands which is now known as the Lipari Islands. It is located in the Tyrrhenian Sea off the northern coast of Sicily, in a volcanic archipelago situated in between Vesuvius and Etnasouthern, Italy. It derives its name after the largest island called the Lipari Island.
