Aetius

Aetius (c. 390 – 454), full name Flavius Aetius, also called "The Last of the Romans", was a Roman general, who withstood the aggressions of the Barbarians for twenty years, and defeated Attila at Châlons in 451. He was assassinated out of jealousy by the Emperor Valentinian III in 454.
