Affair

Affair is an event or a series of a specified kind of events, such as current affairs. Love affair is sometimes simply called affair in short. It is also a dealing of matters specified, such as family affair. Particular matters of concern for someone are called someone's affair. Affairs is usually used for matters of public interest, such as current affairs. The plural form is also used for matters of public importance, such as Home Affairs, or Foreign Affairs. However, the plural form affairs also mean business or financial dealings.
