African Eve hypothesis
African Eve hypothesis is just another name for Mitochondrial Eve hypothesis which says that modern humans have a common female ancestor who lived in Africa some 200,000 years ago. It should be noted that Biblical Eve is different from Mitochondrial Eve. Mitochondrial Eve is based on genetic studies suggesting all living humans inherit their mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA) from the woman lived in Africa.Nearby pages
