Age

Age is the period of time spent by someone or something in existence. It also refers to a stage of someone's life, such as a school age.

There are also some expressions in which this word simply refers to the latter part of life, such as in the expression Experience comes with age.

It acquires the meaning generation when it is taken as a measure of time in a lifetime. Living two ages thus means living two generations.
