Agnatha

Agnatha is a zoological term for a group of primitive fishlike jawless vertebrates. now extinct.

Agnathas have been distinguished by their fishlike fossils. It belongs to Agnatha superclass. Within this superclass the living forms are is the classes Myxini (hangfish) and Cephalaspidomorphi (lamprey).
