Agnus Dei

Agnus Dei is the figure of a lamb bearing a cross or flag as a symbol of Christ, or a medal with this device.

It is also the name of a prayer in the Mass in a Christian Church beginning with the words, "Lamb of God." It is a kind of invocation.

The musical setting of such a song or prayer is also referred to as Agnus Dei.
