Agri-Biotech is the branch of biotechnology that is applied in agriculture. It simply implies biotechnological applications in agriculture. It may also mean crop-biotechnology or animal biotechnology. Agri-Biotch can be traditional biotechnology like tissue culture of plants or modern biotechnology like transfer of alien genes in seeds and animals through appropriate transgenic technology.
