Agrimony

Agrimony is a plant native to north temperate regions. It bears slender flower spikes and spiny fruits, and traditionally used in herbal medicines and dyeing. It is of the genus Agrimonia, the name derived from Greek agremone (poppy). It belongs to the rose family named Rosaceae.

There are many species of this plant. Agrimonia eupatoria is one of them. It bears yellow flowers
