Air

Air is the invisible gaseous substance, a mixture of several gases, that surrounds the surface of the earth. Oxygen and nitrogen are its major components.

In ancient Hindu philosophy, it was considered as one of the five elements. However, in Greek or western philosophy it was considered as one of the four elements.

In western astrology, it is associated with the signs of Gemini, Aquarius, and Libra.
