Air plant

An air plant is a tropical American plant of the genus Tillandsia. It belongs to Bromeliaceae family. Several species of this plant are found that also includes Spanish moss.

The plant is typically epiphytic and sometimes found rootless. Its leaves are like that of grass or fingers. The plant gets nutrients through its leaves by absorbing airborne or waterborne nutrients.
