Airspace

Airspace is the space from just above the earth and upwards in the atmosphere.

It is also the space that is available to aircraft to fly in.

As a legal term, it refers to the airspace above the land over which someone has right of ownership.

In building construction, it is the space that is left to be occupied by air.
