Akash

Akash, in Sanskrit, is the name given to the supposed universal etheric field. In Hinduism, it is believed that a record of all the past events are imprinted in this field.

The space above us, which we know in English as sky, is also known as Aksah, as opposed to Patal, the world which is believed to be located below the Earth.
