Al-Akhtal
Al-Akhtal (645-713) was an Arab poet. He was famous as Ghiyath ibn Ghawth al-Alchtal. He was first Muslim Arab dynasty. He broke traditional style of short ghazal form and developed an original voice, chiefly by using obscenities and manipulating the short ghazal form.
