Al Kali

Al Kali (901-967) (Abu Ali al Baghdad al Kali) was an Arab philosopher and philologist. He is considered first notable Islamic philosopher and 'Philosopher of the Arabs'. He believed that religious revelation and philosophy could coexist, and advocated new-Platonism.
