Al-Mu'tamid

Al-Mu'tamid (d. 1095) was an Arab Spanish Muslim ruler. He is known for hedonism and love of poetry. His court in Seville was a centre for literati. He united Cordoba with his kingdom. Finally, he was deposed and deported to Tangier, Morocco. He died there.
