ALEXANDRIA

ALEXANDRIA is a city on the Potomac River in northern Virginia in the United States. It is situated across from Wasington, DC. It is 7 m. south of Washington and accessible to vessels of the largest size.

There is another Alexandria, a thriving town on the river Leven, 3 m. north of Dumbarton.
