ALI BABA is a hero of a story titled 'Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves' from 'Alph Laila Va Laila' (Thousand Nights and the One Night), popularly known as the "Arabian Nights".

Ali Baba discovers and enters the den of the Forty Thieves by the magic password "SESAMË" , a word which he accidentally overheard. The thieves used to keep their treasure in that cave.
