Ali Shariati

Ali Shariati (1933-1977) was an Iranian scholar. He was an Islamic theorist who advocated Islamic humanism which is also known as 'Islamic Protestantism'. He thought that such an Islamic view could usher in a new era in Islamic world - a new Renaissance.
