Alligator lizard

Alligator lizard is slim lizard native to North America and Mexico. It has short limb and long tail. Several species of this lizard are found which includes the northern alligator lizard and the panamint alligator lizard.

It is of the genus Gerrhonotus. It belongs to Anguidae family.
