Alurkona
Alurkona is a place in Anantapur district of Andhra Pradesh in India. It is located at about 5 km from Tadpatri. It is famous for Sri Ranganatha Swamy Temple built on the top of a hill.The temple was built in 1330 by Yerramaraju, a Chiefttain of Bukkarayalu. There is a waterfall nearby with perennial spring.
The annual Brahmostavam Festival is celebrated on Chitra Suddah Pournima (Usually in April).
