AMBER Alert

An AMBER (also Amber) Alert is an emergency broadcast response system. AMBER is an acronym from America's Missing: Broadcast Emergency Response, but it was initially conceived and named Amber after a chiled Amber Hagerman who was kidnapped in Texas in 1996.

Amber Alert is thus a public announcement about a missing person, which contains details of the missing person so that one can identify that person. Electronic or any other system can be used for AMBER alert.
