AMBROSIA

AMBROSIA is the fragrant food of the gods of Olympus in Greek Mythology. It is also the food of the gods in Roman Mythology. Ambrosia is fabled to preserve in them and confer on others immortal youth and beauty. However, this word is also used for something very pleasant in taste and smell.

Beebread, also bee bread, is also called ambrosia. A dessert, called ambrosia is made with shredded coconut and orange. There is also a fungal produce by this name that is used as food by ambrosia beetles.
