Amritendu Mukharjee was a revolutionary freedom fighter of India. Born 1908, Krishnanagar, Nadia , West Bengal , s/o Late Panchanan Mukherjee Land owner. Came in contact with Yugantar Party in 1924. Took part in Anti British Students Movement in 1921. Matriculated. Arrested at Krishnanagar on 10.10.1934. Sentenced to 5 years R.I. under Arms Act. Participated in the second hunger strike in Cellular Jail. Released in 1939. Interned in 1940. Got a conviction for 6 months for violation interment. Total jail period more than 5 years.
