Analysis

Analysis is a process of or the detailed examination of something, particularly its elements or structure to interpret it more clearly. It can be done in any field of interest.

As a term in mathematics, it is the branch which is concerned with the theory of functions and the use of limits, continuity, and the operations of calculus.

In linguistics, it is use of separate, short words and word order to express grammatical structure. It does not use inflection of agglutination.

In grammar, analysis of sentence, is identification of the clauses that forms the sentence.

In chemistry, it is identification and measurement of the constituents of the substance examined.
