Anastrozole

Anastrozole is a nonsteroidal aromatase inhibitor. This drug is used in prevention and treatment of breast cancer. It works by lowering blood estradiol (a form of estrogen, a female sex hormone produced by the ovaries) concentrations, which may decrease the size and growth of the tumor.
