Aniline

Aniline is a term in chemistry for C6H5NH2, a colourless transparent oily liquid, obtained chiefly from coal-tar, and extensively used in the production of dyes. It was the basis of the earliest synthetic dyes. It is also used in the manufacture of drugs and plastics.
