Anjaw District
Anjaw is a district in the State of Arunachal Pradesh in India. It is located at an altitude of 1296 m on the banks of River Lohit. Hawai, also situated on the banks of Lohit, is the district headquarters. It is bounded on the north by the international border with China. It is spread over an area of 6,190 sq km. Population of the district as per census 2011 was 21167.It was carved out from Lohit district on 16 February 2004 forming easternmost district of the country. Dong is the easternmost village.
