Ankylosing Spondylitis

Ankylosing Spondylitis is a term in medicine for a type of spinal arthritis. It is a condition that chiefly affects young males and eventually leads to ankylosis of vertebral and sacro-iliac joints. It is an abnormal stiffening and immobility due to joining of the bones.
