Anne Bancroft

Anne Bancroft (1931-2005), born Anna Maria Louisa Italiano, was a US actress. She won a Tony Award in 1960, and an Academy Award in 1962 for her performance in stage and film as Helen Keller's teacher Annie Sullivan in 'The Miracle Worker'. She is also known for her iconic role as Mrs Robinson in the movie 'The Graduate' (1967).
