Antenna is a zoological term for either of a pair of long and thin sensory appendages on the heads of certain creatures, such as insects, crustaceans, and some other arthropods.It is also a technical term in electronics for a rod, wire, disc, or any other device that transmits or receives rado or television signals.
The word is also used to denote instinctive faculty of human beings that detects and interprets subtle signs in their surrounding situations.
