Anthony Trollope
Anthony Trollope (1815-1882) was an English novelist. He belonged to a literary family. His mother distinguished as a novelist no less. He was educated at Winchester and Harrow. He held a high position in the Post Office. His novels were numerous in which he depicted the provincial life of England at the time. The chief of his novels were "Barchester Towers," "Framley Parsonage," and "Dr. Thorne". He also wrote a "Life of Cicero," and a biography of Thackeray.
